Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026.
1. Who is responsible
Daniel Faustino is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact: support@worki.pt.
2. Two kinds of data
Your account data is what we need to give you the service: we decide how it is used and this policy is about it. The data you keep in Worki about your own customers, contacts, suppliers and staff is yours: you are responsible for it, and we only handle it on your behalf and on your instructions.
3. What we collect about you
- Your name, email and company, to create and run your account.
- Your subscription and its invoices. Payments are handled by Stripe: we never see or store your card number.
- Technical records: IP address, browser, sign-ins and the actions recorded in the activity log, for security and to fix problems.
- The messages you send us (help requests, the contact form).
4. Why, and on what basis
To provide the service you signed up for (our contract with you), to keep it secure and fix problems (our legitimate interest), and to meet legal duties such as accounting (legal obligation). We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
5. Who else handles it
- Our hosting company, which hosts the application, the database and email.
- Stripe, which processes payments.
If any of them handles data outside the European Economic Area, it does so under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep it
Account data is kept while the account exists. After a subscription ends, your data stays available to you, read-only, for 12 months, so you can come back or export it. Then we delete it, and we warn you by email a month before. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time. Error records are kept for up to 90 days. Billing records are kept for as long as tax law requires.
7. Cookies
Worki uses only the cookies it needs to work: to keep you signed in, to remember your language and to remember a trusted device for two-step sign-in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
8. Security
Connections are encrypted, passwords are stored in a form we cannot read, two-step sign-in is available, and each company's data is kept apart from the others'.
9. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to or limit its use. Write to support@worki.pt and we answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the data protection authority of your country (in Portugal, the CNPD: cnpd.pt). If your data was put into Worki by one of our customers, ask that company first: it decides what is done with it.
10. Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we tell account holders by email before it applies.
